Why does the app show "Not logged in"?
Open Safari and log in to the ship internet portal first, then return to ShipNet and pull down to refresh.
How often does the data update?
The app refreshes every 60 seconds while open in the foreground.
Is my data secure?
Yes. ShipNet only reads data from the ship's local portal. Nothing is transmitted externally — your data never leaves your device.
The app shows a connection error
Check that you're connected to the ship's Wi-Fi network. If the error persists, try logging out and back into the internet portal in Safari, then refresh the app.
Billing or account issues
ShipNet only monitors your usage — it cannot modify or manage your internet package. For billing issues, contact the ship's IT desk directly.
